Senior Vice President Stan Little to Discuss Next-Generation Voice and Video Applications for IMS

Duluth, Ga. — September 17, 2007— IP Unity Glenayre®, Inc., a leader in delivering carrier-grade messaging and multimedia solutions over IP, TDM and enterprise networks, today announced that Stan Little, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, will participate in a panel at the IMS Executive Summit in Washington, D.C., Sept. 19, from 11:15 a.m. to 12 noon, as part of the Business and Regulatory Track. The summit runs Sept. 19-20 at the Westin Washington, D.C. City Center.

The summit is meant to provide technical and business case perspectives on understanding how IMS will impact existing platforms by discussing security concerns, killer apps, and interoperability. It will also address how to enhance the return on investment with regard to operating expenses and time to market.

Little will represent IP Unity Glenayre in the panel discussion titled “Next-Gen Voice and Video: What Will Be the Killer Application for IMS?” The panel will discuss whether new voice applications that are enabled by IMS, such as VOIP and PTT, will become the killer app for IMS or if other applications, such as video sharing, will take the lead. The panel will also look at challenges related to migrating voice applications from a circuit-switched environment to an IP environment.
